This year, the Great Yorkshire Show is celebrating its 150th year – so we’d like you to design something that is inspired by one of the decades of the show; perhaps a Victorian or Edwardian design will influence you – or maybe the roaring twenties or rock ‘n’ roll of the fifties? It’s up to you!
Your design must have commercial potential to be manufactured in bulk production, and be realistic and easily translated from design concept to final garment. You must include information on fabric, trimmings and structure, the position of all fastenings, zips, buttons etc must be shown and must be realistic in terms of ease of use for dressing/undressing.
The sketches/design brief supplied must also include a colour palette.
