Submitting your design and application form is only part of the process; these will be reduced to an initial shortlist of 12 by our first round judges from the Textile Centre of Excellence and Louise Morton Model Agency. They’ll be looking for creativity, innovation, commercial acumen, and the ability for your design to be translated into a garment with catwalk appeal. Successful at that stage, and you’ll be invited to an interview at the Textile of Centre of Excellence. From those interviews a final shortlist will be compiled and their garments made up, ready for the Great Yorkshire Show Catwalk. The finalist will be chosen after a fun round of speed interviews about your design with fashion experts from across the country.
